  14. -Is the version of MacComCenter (not Pro) that ships with the Mac Boca 
  15. Modem v.34 28800 curent for Power Mac, or is there an upgrade or patch to 
  16. download from Smith Micro? With my newly purchased Boca, I could use the 
  17. Mac's eWorld browser and even Z-Term at full speed. But with MacComCenter 
  18. 1.1, as soon as I reach SLONET or even Boca's own BBS, either the carrier 
  19. drops after a second or two, or it connects at 2400 baud.
  20. -Also, I tried the Smith package on the Mac with an AMT Star modem from 
  21. work; and it seemed to log on to SLONET at a higher speed, but failed and 
  22. reached the retry limit on the first block of every Z-modem download I 
  23. tried.
  24. -Incidently, my Mac is a 7500 with an Epson ColorStylus and Syquest EZ 
  25. drive also attached. I can get by with Z-term but could use the print to 
  26. fax features from Smith if it could be made usable.
